محمد الورتتاني ( ... - ١٣٧١ هـ) ( ... - ١٩٥٢ م) محمد المقداد بن الناصر بن عمار الورتتاني (١) . كاتب اخباري. قرأ بجامع الزيتونة بتونس، وكان نائبا للأوقاف في القيروان زهاء عشرين سنة، وساح في فرنسة وغيرها، وعاد الى القيروان. من آثاره: البرنس في باريز وهو مشاهدات واستطرادات، المفيد السنوي في جزأين، الرحلة الأحمدية في وصف رحلة أحمد الثاني باي تونس الى فرنسة، رسالة في تاريخ الشابية بالقيروان، ورسالة في تاريخ الأطعمة التونسية في العصر الحفصي.
