محمد بن الأعمى (٦١٠ - ٦٩٢ هـ) (١٢١٣ - ١٢٩٢ م) محمد بن المبارك بن سالم بن ابي الغنائم الدمشقي، المعروف بابن الاعمى (ظهير الدين) اديب، ناثر، ناظم. سمع الحديث، وتوفي في المحرم، ودفن بمقابر الصوفية بدمشق. من آثاره: قصائد في مدح رسول الله ﷺ سماها الشفعية، والمقامة البحرية.
