    محمد الوتري (١٢٦١ - ١٣٢٢ هـ) (١٨٤٥ - ١٩٠٤ م) محمد علي بن ظاهر الوتري، الحسني المدني (نور الدين، ابو الحسن) محدث ولد بالمدينة، ورحل الى المغرب مرتين واقبل الناس على الأخذ عنه، وتوفي بالمدينة. من آثاره: تحقيق الكلام على الرحمن الرحيم، التحفة المدنية في المسلسلات الوترية، رسالة في الكلام على قول الغزالي ليس في الامكان ابدع مما كان، والأوائل جمع فيها اوائل اربعين كتابا من كتب الحديث.
