محمد حشيشو (١٢٩٩ - ١٣٣٤ هـ) (١٨٨٢ - ١٩١٦ م) محمد علي بن حامد حشيشو. اديب، له شعر، من أهل صيداء. ولد، ونشأ فيها، وعين أستاذا للعربية في المكتب الرشدي، ولما نشبت الحرب العامة الاولى حوكم في ديوان عالية وظهرت براءته، فنفي الى بعلبك، وعفي عنه فذهب الى القصير على مقربة من حماة، فتوفي فيها. من تصانيفه: آثار ذوات السوار، وشعراء سورية في العصر الحاضر.
