    محمد بن خير (٥٠٢ - ٥٧٥ هـ) (١١٠٩ - ١١٧٩ م) محمد بن خير بن عمر بن خليفة اللمتوني، الأموي، الاشبيلي (ابو بكر) مقرىء، محدث، حافظ، أديب، نحوي، لغوي. ولد لليلتين بقيتا من رمضان، واخذ القراءات عن شريح بن محمد ولازمه الى حين وفاته، وسمع بقرطبة من جماعة وتصدر باشبيلية للاقراء والاسماع، واخذ عنه الناس، وتوفي في ٤ ربيع الأول، ودفن بمقبرة مشكة باشبيلية. من آثاره: فهرسة ما رواه عن شيوخه من الدواوين المصنفة في ضروب العلم وانواع المعارف.
