محمد الوانوغي (٧٥٩ - ٨١٩ هـ) (١٣٥٨ - ١٤١٦ م) محمد بن احمد بن عثمان بن عمر التونسي المالكي، نزيل الحرمين، ويعرف بالوانوغي (ابو عبد الله) عالم بالتفسير والاصلين والعربية والفرائض والحساب والجبر والمقابلة والمنطق. ولد ظنا سنة ٧٥٩ هـ بتونس، ونشأ بها، وتوفي بمكة. من تصانيفه: تأليف على قواعد ابن عبد السلام، عشرون سؤالا في أنواع من العلم، وحاشية على التهذيب للبراذعي.
