محمد بن الموّاز (١٨٠ - ٢٦٩ هـ) (١) (٧٩٦ - ٨٨٣ م) محمد بن ابراهيم بن زياد الاسكندري المالكي، المعروف بابن المواز (ابو عبد الله) فقيه. ولد في رجب، وأخذ عن اصبغ ابن الفرج وعبد الله بن عبد الحكم، وتوفي بدمشق لاحدى عشرة ليلة خلت من ذي القعدة. من آثاره: مصنف في الفقه.
