    فَرِيد عَبْد الله (١٢٨٨ - بعد ١٣٣٠ هـ = ١٨٧١ - بعد ١٩١١ م) فريد بن عبد الله ذكسي: طبيب مصري، من أصل قبطي. مولده ووفاته بالقاهرة. تعلم بها في المدرسة الأميركية ثم الطبية الخديوية. وعمل في بعض المستشفيات. وترجم إلى العربية " نصائح الأمهات - ط " ثلاثة أجزاء، طبع الجزء الأخير منه سنة ١٩١١ م. وله " الفرائد البهية في الفسيولوجيا الحيوانية - ط " (١) .
