فرنسيس جبران (١٢٦٩ - ١٣٤٣ هـ) (١٨٥٣ - ١٩٢٤ م) فرنسيس بن اوغسطين جبران. من ارباب التربية والتعليم. ولد في ٦ شباط، ودرّس في عدة مدارس، وساهم في تأسيس الاتفاق الكاثوليكي الشرقي، وتوفي ببغداد في ٢٨ كانون الاول. من آثاره: الخواطر الحسان في المراسلات بينه وبين ادباء عصره، سلم الارب في مبادىء لغة العرب في جزأين، رسالة في العروض، كتاب ابن عصام، وعدة رسائل.
