    علي الطّبّناوي (٨٠٠ - ٨٨٨ هـ) (١٣٩٨ - ١٤٨٣ م) علي بن محمد بن احمد بن يوسف بن محمد الهيثمي، ثم الطبناوي، القاهري، المالكي، الاشعري، ويعرف بالطبناوي (نور الدين) فلكي، متصوف، ناظم. ولد بمحلة ابي الهيثم بمصر، ونشأ بها، وتقدم عند بعض الامراء، وسجن في ايام الظاهر حقمق، وتوفي بالقاهرة من آثاره: ارجوزتان في الجيب، وثالثه في المقنطرات، ووسيلة الخدم الى أهل الحل والحرم، والحمى الاحمدي والرباط الصمدي (ط) السخاوي: الضوء اللامع ٥: ٢٨٧، ٢٨٨، البغدادي: ايضاح المكنون ٢: ٧٠٦،البغدادي: هدية العارفين ١: ٧٣٣، ٧٣٧، الزركلي: الاعلام brockelmann: g ,II: ٧٧ ,s ,II: ٨٣ ١٦٣: ٥
