علي السبيتي (١٢٣٦ - ١٣٠٣ هـ) (١٨٢١ - ١٨٨٦ م) علي بن محمد بن أحمد بن إبراهيم بن علي بن يوسف السبيتي، العاملي، الكفراوي (١) . أديب، نحوي، بياني، لغوي، شاعر،كاتب، مؤرخ. ولد بكفرى في ٢٥ ذي الحجة، وتوفي بها في مستهل رجب. من تصانيفه: الجوهر المجرد في شرح قصيدة علي الاسعد، شرح ميمية أبي فراس، كتاب الكنوز في النحو لم يتم، اليواقيت في البيان، ورسالة في فضل علي بن أبي طالب.
