علي بن الجرّاح (٢٤٥ - ٣٣٤ هـ) (٨٥٩ - ٩٤٦ م) علي بن عيسى بن داود بن الجراح البغدادي (أبو الحسن) أديب، ناثر، مفسر، مؤرخ، سياسي، وزير. وزر للمقتدر بالله دفعتين أو ثلاث دفعات، وتوفي في ذي الحجة، ودفنفي داره له من الكتب: جامع الدعاء، معاني القرآن وتفسيره اعانه عليه أبو الحسن الواسطي وأبو بكر بن مجاهد، الكتاب وسياسة المملكة وسيرة الخلفاء، ورسائله.
