    علي العطّاس (١١٢١ - ١١٧٢ هـ) (١٧٠٩ - ١٧٥٩ م) علي بن حسن العطاس الحضرمي باعلوي.اديب، شاعر مؤرخ، من اهل حضر موت. ولد، ونشأ في حريضة، وانتقل الى البحرين، ثم استوطن قرية الغبوار، وتعرف اليوم بالمشهد، وتوفي بها. من تصانيفه: العطية الهنية والوصية المرضية والجذوة المضية، ديوان شعر سماه قلائد الحسان، المختصر في سيرة سيد البشر، الرياض المونقة في الألفاظ المتفرقة، وخلاصة المغنم في الاسم الاعظم.
