علي الدّاعي (١٠٤٠ - ١١٢١ هـ) (١٦٣١ - ١٧٠٩ م) علي بن احمد بن القاسم بن محمد الحسني، اليمني من اهل العلم والرياسة. دعى الى نفسه، وتولى بلاد صعدة، وتلقب بالداعي، وخطب له بجهات صعدة، وضربت السكة باسمه، وخرج في جموع كثيرة لمحاصرة صنعاء، وفرق الولاة على البلاد، وجرت حروب وانتهت برجوعه الى صعدة واستمراره في ولايتها الى ان توفي في جمادى الأولى. من تصانيفه: شرح على البحر الزخار.
