    عَطَاء الله المُدَرِّس (١٢٥٦ - ١٣٣٢ هـ = ١٨٤٠ - ١٩١٣ م) عطاء الله بن عبد الرحمن بن حسن المدرس: فاضل، من أهل حلب. مولده ووفاته فيها. ولي إدارة معارفها، ثم رياسة مجلس المعارف. وكان من أعضاء محكمة الاستئناف. له " ديوان شعر " وتصانيف ذهب بها حريق حدث في منزله ولم يبق من آثاره غير كاب " الخراج - ط " بالتركية، ترجمه إليها عن العربية، وعلق عليه حواشي كثيرة (٢) .
