    عَبْد المُقْتَدِر الكِنْدي (٠٠٠ - ٧٩١ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ١٣٨٩ م) عبد المقتدر بن محمود بن سليمان الشريحي الكندي، منهاج الدين: قاض من شعراء الهند بالعربية. ولد في " تهانيسر " في بيت علم وقضاء. ونشأ وعاش في دهلي. من شعره قصيدة مطلعها: " يا سائق الظعن في الأسحار والأصل سلّم على دار سلمى وابك ثم سل " أوردها الشَّريف عَبْد الحَيّ كاملة (١) . ابن عَبْد المَقْصُود = محمد سعيد ١٣٦٠ ابن عبد المَلِك (المؤرخ) = محمد بن محمد ٧٠٣
