    عَبْد الله باشْ أَعْيَان (١٢٦٣ - ١٣٤٠ هـ = ١٨٤٧ - ١٩٢١ م) عبد الله (ضياء الدين) بن عبد الواحد ابن عبد الطيف آل عبد السلام الكوازي الشافعيّ البصري: فاضل. من أسرة باش أعيان المعروفة في البصرة، وتنتسب إلى العباسيين. رباه جده لأمه أحمد نوري الأنصاري قاضي البصرة. وتقلب في وظائف متعددة. وحج سنة ١٢٩٠ هـ وألف في ذلك " رحلة " مختصرة، سميت " الفتوحات الكوازية في السياحة إلى الأرض الحجازية - ط " وعكف في أعوامه الأخيرة على تدريس الحديث في بيته إلى أن توفي (٢) .
