    ٤٢٤٥ - [عبد الله العمودي] (٤) الفقيه الإمام أبو محمد، العالم العامل، الآمر بالمعروف، الناهي عن المنكر، بجهة دوعن عبد الله بن محمد بن عثمان العمودي النوحي. استولى على وادي دوعان، وسكن الخريبة، وأقام لهم الشريعة، وأحيا السنة، وأطفأ البدعة، لكن لم يوافق ذلك هواهم، فحاربوه وأخرجوه وأحرقوا كتبه كما نقل عن الثقات، فانتقل إلى ذمار، وتوفي بها في سنة أربعين وثمان مائة. والله أعلم، وصلّى الله على محمد وآله وصحبه وسلم ***
