    عبد الله بن حوط (٥٤٩ - ٦١٢ هـ) (١١٥٤ - ١٢١٥ م) عبد الله بن سليمان بن داوود بن حوط الله الانصاري، الحارثي، الاندلسي الأندي (أبو محمد) محدث، حافظ، مقرىء، منشيء، خطيب، شاعر، نحوي. ولد بانده، وتصدر للقراءات والعربية، وأدب أولاد المنصور بمراكش، وولي قضاء اشبيلية وقرطبة، وتوفي بغرناطة متوليا قضاءها ثانيا في ربيع الأول من آثاره: كتاب في تسمية شيوخ البخارى ومسلم وابي دواد والترمذي والنسائي لم يتمه.
