    عبد الصمد بن عساكر (٦١٤ - ٦٨٦ م) (١٢١٧ - ١٢٨٧ هـ) عبد الصمد بن عبد الوهاب بن الحسن بن محمد بن الحسن بن هبة الله بن عساكر الدمشقي الشافعي، نزيل الحرم (ابو اليمن، أمين الدولة) عالم، اديب، محدث، مشارك في بعض العلوم. ولد لاثنتى عشرة ليلة خلت من ربيع الأول بدمشق، وانقطع بمكة نحو اربعين سنة، وتوفي بالمدينة مستهل جمادى الأولى. من آثاره: جزء في ذكر فضائل الصلاة على الرسول ﷺ، جزء في جبل هراء، احاديث عيد الفطر، فضل رمضان، وفضائل ام المؤمنين خديجة.
