    عبد الرحيم الفرات (٧٥٩ - ٨٥١ هـ) (١٣٥٨ - ١٤٤٨ م) عبد الرحيم بن محمد بن عبد الرحيم بن علي بن الحسن بن محمد بن عبد العزيز ويعرف بابن الفرات (عز الدين) . محدث، مؤرخ ولد بالقاهرة، ونشأ بها، وحدث بالكثير وولي القضاء، وتوفي في ذي الحجة. من آثاره: تذكرة الأنام في النهي عن القيام، منظومة الفرائد وهي تلخيص شرح ابن وهبان علىمنظومته في الفقه، ونخبة الفوائد المستنتجة من كتاب عقد القلائد في حل قيد الشرائد.
