    عبد الرحمن وافد (٣٨٩ (٢) - ٤٦٧ هـ) (٩٩٩ - ١٠٧٥ م) عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن عبد الكبير بنيحيى بن وافد بن مهند اللخمي (ابو المطرف) طبيب، فقيه، عالم بالفلاحة، وزير، من اهل طليطلة. ولد في ذي الحجة، ورحل الى قرطبة، فلقي بها ابا القاسم خلف بن عباس الزهراوي، واخذ عنه علم الطب، وتولى غرس جنة المأمون بن ذي النون بطليطلة، وتوفي لعشر بقين من رمضان. من تصانيفه: الادوية المفردة، الوساد في الطب، مجربات في الطب، تدقيق النظر في علل حاسة البصر، ومجموع في الفلاحة.
