    عبد الرحمن المشّاط (٠٠٠ - ٣٩٧ هـ) (٠٠٠ - ١٠٠٧ م) عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن احمد بن عبيد الله الرعيني، القرطبي، المعروف بابن المشاط (ابو المطرف) من القضاة. اخذ القراءاتعن ابي الحسن الانطاكي، وسمع خلف بن قاسم وغيره، واتصل بالمنصور محمد بن ابي عامر فادناه وقرّيه وولاه احكام الشرطة وخطة الوثائق السلطانية وقضاء استجه وجيان وبلنسية وغيرها، وولاه الخسبة وقلده نظم التاريخ في ايامه فجمع فيه كتابه الباهر الذي اهلكه النهب في نكبة آل عامر.
