    عبد الرحمن بن الأمانة (٨٢٣ - ٠٠٠ هـ) (١٤٢٠ - ٠٠٠ م) عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن احمد بن عبد العزيز ابن عثمان بن سند بن خالد الابياري الاصل، القاهري، الشافعي، ويعرف بابن الامانة (الجلال، أبو الفضل) فقيه، مؤرخ، اديب. ولد بخزانه البنود من القاهرة، ونشأ بها ودرّس الفقه بالزنكلونية والشيخونية، وناب في القضاء، وحج. من آثاره: منسك، كتاب ذكر فيه جملة من الحوادث والتراجم في مجلدات، وتذكرة في عشر مجلدات.
