الضحّاك النّبيل (١٢٢ - ٢١٢ هـ) (٧٤٠ - ٨٢٨ م) الضحاك بن مخلد بن الضحاك بن مسلم الشيباني البصري، المعروف بالنبيل (ابو عاصم) محدث، حافظ. ولد بمكة، وسمع الاوزاعي ومحمد بن جعفر الصادق وخلقا، وروى عنه البخاري، وتحول الى البصرة، فسكنها الى ان توفي. من آثاره: جزء في الحديث.
