    شرف الدين الحسني (١١٤٠ - ١٢٢٣ هـ) (١٧٢٧ - ١٨٠٨ م) شرف الدين بن اسماعيل بن محمد بن اسحاق بن احمد بن الحسن بن القاسم الحسني، اليمني. فاضل زيدي، من اهل صنعاء. خرج في آخر ايام المهدي العباس بن الحسين الى بلاد أرحب مغاضبا، وجرت حروب، وبقي هنالك الى ان مات المهدي، فعاد الى صنعاء في خلافة المنصور، وصارت اليه إمارة آل اسحاق بعد وفاة عمه العباس بن محمد، فباشر اعمالهم الى ان توفي. من آثاره: رسائل واسئلة واجوبة تأتي في مجلد ضخم.
