    سيد المرصفي (٠٠٠ - ١٣٥٠ هـ) (٠٠٠ - ١٩٣١ م) سيد بن علي المرصفي، الازهري. اديب، لغوي، راوية للشعر، مشارك في بعض العلوم. درّس بالأزهر، وأخذ عنه طه حسين من آثاره: رغبة الآمل من كتاب الكامل في ثمانية اجزاء، اسرار الحماسة لابي تمام، الدر الذي انسجم على لامية العجم، ومنظومة تحفة العصر الجديد في الفقه والتوحيد.
