    خالد الخَطِيب (١٣١٨ - ١٣٥١ هـ = ١٩٠٠ - ١٩٣٣ م) خالد بن محمد الخطيب: طبيب، من رجال الثورة الاستقلالية في سورية. ولد ونشأ في حماة، وتعلم الطب بدمشق. وناوأ الاستعمار الفرنسي، فاعتقل في سجن (أرواد) ثمانية عشر شهرا. ثم لحق بالثورة السورية سنة ١٩٢٥ م، وحكم عليه الفرنسيون بالإعدام، فظلّ بعيدا عن وطنه، في مصر والحجاز وفلسطين، ثم بعمّان حيث وافته منيته. وحمل نعشه إلى بلده (حماة) . له أناشيد حماسية، ونظم حسن، جمع في (ديوان - ط) وكان شريف النفس، أبيا، فيه أريحية كاملة وفتوة.

    خالد الخطيب (١٣١٨ - ١٣٥١ هـ) (١٩٠٠ - ١٩٣٣ م) خالد بن محمد الخطيب. طبيب، شاعر. ولد، ونشأ بحماة، وتعلم الطب بدمشق، وناوأ الاستعمار الفرنسي، فاعتقل في سجن أرواد، ثم لحق بالثورة السورية سنة ١٩٢٥ م وحكم عليه الفرنسيون بالاعدام، فظل بعيدا عن وطنه في مصر والحجاز وفلسطين، ثم بعمّان حيث وافته منيته، وحمل نعشه الى حماة. من آثاره: ديوان شعر.
