    حمزة الحسيني (٨١٨ - ٨٧٤ هـ) (١٤١٥ - ١٤٦٩ م) حمزة بن احمد بن علي بن محمد بن علي بن العباس الحسيني، الدمشقي، الشافعي (الشريف عز الدين) فقيه، مؤرخ، نسابة. ولد بدمشق في شوال، ونشأ بها، وتوفي في ١٢ ربيع الآخر. من تصانيفه: الايضاح على تحرير التنبيه للنووي، طبقات النحاة واللغويين، ذيل على مشتبه النسبة، بقايا الخبايا استدرك فيه على خبايا الزوايا للزركشي في فروع الفقه الشافعي، وفضائل بيت المقدس.
