    الحَكَم الأُمَوي (٠٠٠ - ٣٢ هـ = ٠٠٠ - ٦٥٢ م) الحكم بن أبي العاص بن أمية بن عبد شمس القرشي الأموي: صحابي، أسلم يوم الفتح وسكن المدينة. فكان فيما قيل يفشي سرّ رسول الله ﷺ فنفاه إلى الطائف. وأعيد إلى المدينة في خلافة عثمان، فمات فيها، وقد كُفّ بصره. وهو عمّ عثمان بن عفان، ووالد مروان (رأس الدولة المروانية) (٢) .
