    حفص بن صهبان (١٥٠ - ٢٤٠ هـ) (٢) (٧٦٧ - ٨٥٤ م) حفص بن عمر بن عبد العزيز بن صهبان (٣) ابن عيسى بن صهبان الدوري (٤)، الازدي، البغدادي، الضرير، نزيل سامراء (ابو عمر) مقرىء، نحوي. ولد سنة بضع وخمسين ومائة، ورحل في طلب القراءات، فقرأ على ابي عمرو بن العلاء والكسائي وروى عنهما، وقرأ العربية على ابي محمد يحيى بن المبارك اليزدي، وكتب عنه احمد بن حنبل. من آثاره: كتاب ما اتفقت الفاظه ومعانيه من القرآن، وكتاب اجزاء القرآن.
