حسين السّبزواري (١٢٦٨ - ١٣٥٢ هـ) (١٨٥٢ - ١٩٣٣ م) حسين بن محسن العلوي، السبزواري، المشهور بالحاج ميرزا حسين الكبير. فقيه، متكلم، حكيم، اديب، شاعر. توفي في ذي القعدة او في شوال ببلده سبزوار. من آثاره: ارجوزة في الفلسفة العالية، رسالة في علم الامام، تفسير آية الخلافة، رسالة جعل الطريق والحكم الظاهري في قبال الواقع، وتعليقة علي الاسفار لملا صدرا.(ط) العاملي: اعيان الشيعة ٢٧: ١٢٥، ١٢٦، التبريزي: كتاب علماء معاصرين ١٦٨
