الحسن الكبسي (١١٦٧ - ١٢٣٨ هـ) (١٧٥٣ - ١٨٢٣ م) الحسن بن يحيى بن احمد بن علي بن محمد ابن احمد بن القاسم بن عبد الله بن يحيى بن احمد بن الحسين بن الناصر بن علي بن معتق الكبسي، الصنعاني. محدث، حافظ، فقيه، عارف بالرجال. ولد بهجرة الكبس من خولان العالية في صفر، وتوفي بصنعاء. من تصانيفه: تسهيل البحث والنظر في ترتيب تراجم رجال العبر، والطلح المنضود في ابطال بدعة الحمى والحدود، اجالة النظر في بيع الغين والغرر (ط) زيارة: نيل الوطر ١: ٣٥٨ - ٣٦٤
