    حسن الدّمستاني (كان حيا قبل ١١٨١ هـ) (١٧٦٧ م) حسن بن محمد بن علي بن خلف بن ابراهيم ابن ضيف الله بن حسن بن صدقة البحراني، الدمستاني (١) . فقيه، محدث، متكلم، اديب، شاعر. توفي ببلدة القطيف في ٢٣ ربيع الأول. من آثاره: ديوان شعر كبير، انتخاب الجيد من تنبيهات السيد، منظومة تحفة الباحثين في اصول الدين، ارجوزة في اثبات الامامة والوصية.
