    الحسن عاكش (١٢٢١ - ١٢٨٩ هـ) (١٨٠٧ - ١٨٧٢ م) الحسن بن احمد بن عبد الله بن عبد العزيز ابن الحسن بن الحسين بن محمد بن يحيى بن محمد ابن علي بن عمر بن محمد بن يوسف الضمدي، التهامي، المعروف بعاكش. محدث، حافظ مؤرخ، ناثر، ناظم، مشارك في انواع من العلوم. ولد في آخر سنة ١٢٢١ هـ. منمؤلفاته العديدة: روض الاذهان شرح نظم المدخل في علمي المعاني والبيان، نزهة الابصار من السيل الجرار، الديباج الخسرواني في ذكر اعيان المخلاف السليماني، عقود الدرر في تراجم رجال القرن الثالث عشر، وحدائق الزهر في ذكر الاشياخ اعيان العصر والدهر (ط) زيارة: نيل الوطر ١: ٣١٤ - ٣١٨
