    جواد مرتضى (١٢٦٦ - ١٣٤١ هـ) (١٨٥٠ - ١٩٢٢ م) جواد بن حسين بن حيدر بن مرتضى بن محمد بن حيدر بن محمد بن مرتضى بن حيدر بن علي بن حيدر الحسيني، العاملي، العيثاوي. عالم، فقيه، شاعر، اديب. ولد في قرية عيثا الزط، ونشأ بها، وانتقل الى حداثا، ثم الى شقرا بجبل عامل، وهاجر الى النجف لطلب العلم فبقي فيه نحو تسع سنين، وسكن بعلبك نحو عشرين سنة، وتوفي بعيثا الزط في جمادى الأولى من تصانيفه: مفتاح الجنات في الحث على الصلوات، شمس النهار في الرد على المنار، رسالة في جواز الجمع في الفرائض بدون سفر ولا مطر، رسالة في الاخلاق، وله شعر.
