    بركات بن الكيّال (٠٠٠ - ٩٢٩ هـ) (٠٠٠ - ١٥٢٣ م) بركات بن أحمد بن محمد بن يوسف الدمشقي الشافعي، الشهير بابن الكيال (زين الدين) واعظ، فقيه، محدث. توفي بدمشق. من آثاره: حياة القلوب ونيل المطلوب في الوعظ الكواكب الزاهرات في معرفة من اختلط من الرواة والثقات في الحديث، اسنى المقاصد في معرفة حقوق الولد على الوالد، الانجم الزواهر في تحريم القراءة بلحون أهل الفسق والكبائر، والجواهر الزواهي في ذم الملاعب والملاهي.
