    انطون زخّورة (١١٧١ - ١٢٤٧ هـ) (١٧٥٨ - ١٨٣١ م) انطون زخورة. قس، من طائفة الروم الكاثوليك، سوري الأصل، من أهل حلب. ولد بالقاهرة، وتعلم اللاهوت في رومة، فسمى الاب رافائيل انطوان زخور، وخدم الحملة الفرنسية في مصر بالترجمة، وانتخب عضوا في المجمع العلمي الذي انشأه نابليون بالقاهرة، واقام مدة في باريس مدرسا للعربية، واتصل بمحمد علي الكبير فجعله ناظرا لمطبعة بولاق، ثم اختير للترجمة في مدرسة الطب، وتوفي بالقاهرة.
