اسماعيل بن فلوس (٥٤٤ - ٦٣٠ هـ (٢)) (١١٤٩ - ١٢٣٣ م) اسماعيل بن ابراهيم بن غازي المارديني، النميري، ويعرف بابن فلوس (شمس الدين، ابو الطاهر) . عالم بالرياضيات والفرائض،ولد ببصرى في ربيع الآخر، وتوفي بدمشق في جمادى الأولى. من تصانيفه: نصاب الجبر والمقابلة، اعداد الاسرار في اسرار الاعداد، ارشاد الحسّاب في المفتوح من علم الحساب.
