احمد القنويّ (كان حيا قبل ٧٧١ هـ) (١٣٦٩ م) احمد بن مسعود بن عبد الرحمن القنوي (ابو العباس) فقيه، اصولي، لغوي، نحوي. سكن دمشق، وتوفي بها. من مؤلفاته: شرح عقيدة الطحاوي، وشرح الجامع الكبير للشيباني في اربع مجلدات سماه التقرير ولم يكمل تبيضه فكمله ولده محمود المتوفى سنة ٧٧١ هـ.
