    احمد الزّرّاري (٢٨٥ - ٣٦٨ هـ (١)) (٨٩٨ - ٩٧٩ م) أحمد بن محمد بن سليمان بن الحسن بن الجهم بن بكير بن أعين الشيباني، الزراري، الكوفي الشيعي (ابو غالب) مؤرخ، فقيه. ولد في اواخر ربيع الثاني، وتوفي ببغداد في جمادى الأولى. من تصانيفه: كتاب التاريخ ولم يتمه، أدعية السفر، مناسك الحج، الرسالة الى ابنة ابي طاهر في ذكر آل أعين وكتاب الأفضال (خ) البحراني: ثبت ١٠٥/ ١، ١٠٦/ ٢، الذهبي: سير النبلاء ١٠: ٢١٩ (ط) الطوسي: الفهرست ٣١، ٣٢، أبو علي: منتهى المقال ٤٢، ٤٣، ميرزا محمد: منهج المقال ٤٤، المامقاني: تنقيح المقال ١: ٨٦، ٨٧، الخوانساري: روضات الجنات ١٣، العاملي: أعيان الشيعة ١٠: ١٠١ - ١١١
