    أَحمد سُلْطان (١٢٢٤ - ١٣٠٨ هـ = ١٨٠٩ - ١٨٩١ م) أحمد بن محمد بن أحمد سلطان: قاض. من أهل طرابلس الشام. ولي قضاءها سنة ١٢٦٢ - ١٢٨٦ هـ ونقل إلى قضاء اللاذقية، فاستعفى، وولي أعمالا في بلده، فكان من أعضاء مجلس الإدارة والحقوق. وتوفي بطرابلس. من كتبه (شرح المقامات الحريرية) مطوَّل، وكتاب في (المعاني) وله نظم حسن (٢) .
