    أحمد النّجاشي (٣٧٢ - ٤٥٠ هـ) (٩٨٢ - ١٠٥٨ م) احمد بن علي بن احمد بن العباس بن محمد بن عبد الله بن ابراهيم بن محمد بن عبد الله النجاشي ويعرف بابن الكوفي. مؤرخ. ولد في صفر وتوفي بمطيرآباد في جمادى الأولى. من تصانيفه: كتاب الرجال، كتاب الجمعة انساب نصر بن يعرب وايامهم واشعارهم، النجوم، والكوفة وما فيها من الآثار والفضائل. (خ) البحراني: ثبت ١٠٣/ ٢، ١٠٤/ ١، كتاب في التراجم ١٧، عام ٦٩٢٥. ظاهرية (ط) العاملي: أعيان الشيعة ٩: ١٠٢ ١٣٩، الخوانساري: روضات الجنات ١٧، ٨، أبو علي: منتهى المقال ٣٧، ٣٨، المامقاني: تنقيح المقال ١: ٦٩ - ٧١
