    احمد السّنوسي (١٢٨٤ - ١٣٥١ هـ) (١٨٦٧ - ١٩٣٣ م) احمد الشريف بن محمد بن محمد بن علي السنوسي الخطابي. من كبار السنوسيين اصحاب الطريقة المعروفة بهم في المغرب. ولد، وتفقه في الجغبوب، واقام في التاج بواحة الكفرة ببرقة، وحمل عبء الجهاد ضد الايطاليين بطرابلس الغرب، ثم قصد القسطنطينية، ثم رحل الى الحجاز، وتوفي بالمدينة. من مؤلفاته: الأنوار القدسية في مقدمات الطريقة السنوسية، المنهل الراوي الرائق في اسانيد العلوم واصول الطريق، والفيوضات الربانية في اجازات الطريقة السنوسية الاحمدية الادريسية.
