أحمد بن اللّبودي (٨٣٤ - ٨٩٦ هـ) (١٤٣١ - ١٤٩٢ م) أحمد بن خليل بن احمد بن ابراهيم بنابي بكر الدمشقي، الصالحي، الشافعي، ويعرف بابن اللبودي، وابن عمرو، ولكنه بالأولى اشهر (شهاب الدين) مؤرخ، اديب. ولد في ١٧ شعبان، وتوفي بها في ٦ المحرم. من مؤلفاته: منظومة اعلام الاعلام بمن ولى قضاء الشام. له تاريخ، ونظم، ونثر.
