سَعْد، جد هود بْن عَبد اللَّهِ بْن سَعْد العصري. روى مُحَمَّد بْن إِبْرَاهِيم بْن صدران، عَنْ طَالِب بْن حجير، عَنْ هود بْن عَبد اللَّهِ بْن سَعْد العصري، عَنْ جده: دخل النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يوم الْفَتْح وعلى سيفه ذهب وفضة. رواه التِّرْمِذِيّ عنه فِي "الشمائل"هكذا ولم يسم جده. ورواه عنه فِي "الجهاد" (٢) : من جامعه"بهذا الإسناد، فَقَالَ: عَنْ جده مزيدة - وهُوَ جده لأمه -. وذكره صاحب "الأطراف" فِي حرف الميم على الصواب. وذكره فِي حرف السين، فوهم فيه وجعله عَنْ سَعْد لما وجده فِي "الشمائل"غير مسمى. والصواب ما ذكره فِي حرف الميم، والله أعلم (٣) .
