    (٢٢٣) (بخ س-أبو جعفر) الفراء الكوفي قيل اسمه كيسان وقيل سلمان (¬٢)وقيل زياد. روى عن أبي أمية الفزاري وله صحبة وعبد الله بن شداد ابن الهاد وعبد الله بن يزيد الخطمي وعبد الرحمن بن جدعان وعكرمة وأبي سلمان المؤذن وأبي ليلى الكندي وغيرهم. وعنه أبناء إسحاق وعبد الحميد وشعبة وسفيان وإسرائيل وإسماعيل بن زكرياء وشريك وآخرون قال الآجري عن أبي داود ثقة وذكره ابن حبان في الثقات.
