(٧٢) (عخ د ت ق أبو أمية) الشعباني الدمشقي اسمه يحمد بضم الياء وكسر الميم وقيل بفتح الياء وقيل اسمه عبد الله بن أخامر. روى عن معاذ بن جبل وأبي ثعلبة الخشني وكعب الأحبار. وعنه عمرو بن جارية اللخمي وعبد الملك ابن سفيان الثقفي وعبد السلام بن مكلبة. ذكره ابن حبان في الثقات وقال أبو حاتم أدرك الجاهلية.
