    (٧٨٧) (د ت س-يعيش) بن الوليد بن هشام بن معاوية بن هشام بن عقبة بن أبي معيط الأموي الدمشقي نزيل قرقيسياء. روى عن أبيه ومعاوية ومولى الزبير ومعدان وقيل ابن معدان وقيل عن أبي معدان وقيل عن خالد بن معدان والأول أصح. وعنه يحيى بن أبي كثير وعكرمة بن عمار والأوزاعي وإسماعيل بن رافع المدني. قال العجلي والنسائي ثقة وذكره ابن حبان في الثقات وقال أبو مسهر عن سعيد بن عبد العزيز نزل يعيش بن الوليد على مكحول فهيأ له طعاما.
