(٣٤٤) (يحيى) بن داود بن ميمون الواسطي. روى عن أبي معاوية وعبد الله ابن إدريس ووكيع وإسحاق بن يوسف الأزرق وغيرهم. وعنه أبو بكر ابن أبي عاصم ومحمد بن إسحاق الصغاني وعلي بن إسحاق بن زاطيا وعلي بن العباس المقانعي وأسلم بن سهل بحشل الواسطي ومحمد بن جرير الطبري وأبو القاسم البغوي ذكره ابن حبان في الثقات وقال مستقيم الحديث وقال بحشل مات سنة أربع وأربعين ومائتين. ذكره ابن عساكر في شيوخ ابن ماجه وقال فيه أبو السفر العسكري وذلك وهم فإن العسكري اسمه يحيى بن يزداد ويكنى أبا السقر وسيأتي في موضعه على الصواب وأما هذا الواسطي فلا تعرف كنيته والله تعالى أعلم*
